Welcome to the Lai Thai Resort Krabi. The Lai Thai Resort was inspired by the architecture and arts of Northern Thailand and is located amongst the towering limestone cliffs of Krabi, 700 meters from world famous Ao Nang Beach.

The Lai Thai Resort is a small family-run resort of 20 luxury bungalows which includes a poolside restaurant and bar, black tile swimming pool, gift shop, private transportation to the beach and tour services.

The Lai Thai Resort also specializes in Thai and Western weddings, providing a personal touch to make your special day in our exotic setting one you will never forget.

The Lai Thai Resort celebrates its tenth season of providing a high standard of accommodation for those seeking to relax and enjoy the splendors of Krabi. In a quiet setting near the base of the cliffs of Ao Nang, the Lai Thai Resort offers a spectacular view of the limestone karsts which drop dramatically into the sea.

Located 700 meters from Ao Nang Beach, the Lai Thai Resort is close enough to the beach to walk to the many restaurants and bars, but far enough from the crowds to offer solitude and quiet. A beach shuttle is provided each morning and the area is well serviced by locals tuk tuks.

Over the years The Lai Thai Resort has hosted many weddings, ranging from private affairs for the bride and the groom, to large parties of 100 or more. The spectacular backdrop of the cliffs of Aonang and the exotic black tile pool and flower gardens provide a unique setting that is hard to beat. The experienced staff at the resort can handle every aspect of your wedding, from beginning to end; starting with the processing of legal paperwork, to the wedding ceremony, dinner and reception party. The resort offers the following services to make your wedding day one that you will never forget:

1. Translation and processing of legal documents necessary for marriage.

2. Bilingual translator to accompany the wedding couple to the Krabi District Office for marriage registration.

3. Wedding photographer.

Action Activities to participate in at the Lai Thai Resort
The following activities can be booked through the Lai Thai Resort:
Snorkeling/Scuba - the many small islands surrounding Ao Nang provide ideal venues for snorkeling. These are accessible by local longtail boats. In addition there are several PADI certified dive shops. For diving tours, we recommend Phra Nang Divers and Aqua-vision

Longtail boats - boats can be rented for trips to neighboring islands and beaches. These can be hired at the beachfront in Ao Nang.

Rock Climbing - some of the best rock climbing in Asia can be found in Krabi. From beginners to experts.

Kayaking - Whether sea Kayaking is your choice, or leisurely floating through the mangrove forests, Krabi has it all. We can arrange various full day trips.

Tiger Cave / Wat Tam Suea - the main attraction of the temple compound are the numerous caves located in the valley. The jungle setting finds monks living in the caves and you can explore the paths leading amongst huge trees and strange rock formations, walking through a land that time has forgot. Admission free.

Elephant Rides

National Parks - numerous national parks are located nearby, notably than Bokaranee, the hot springs at Klong Tom, Huay to waterfall and fossil shell beach.
